Register a learning or training provider for access to the Learning Records Service

Use this service to register a learning or training provider for access to the Learning Records Service (LRS).

Registering takes around 10 minutes.

Before you start

You'll need:

• your organisation's UK Provider Reference Number (UKPRN) - you can get this from the UK Register of Learning Providers (UKRLP) (opens in new tab)
• your organisation's Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) registration number - you can get this from your Data Protection Officer (DPO) or from the ICO's public register (opens in new tab)
• contact details for a designated super user, who will create and manage LRS user accounts for your organisation
• contact details for the person who will sign the LRS Organisation Agreement, for example the head teacher listed on Get Information about Schools (GIAS) (opens in new tab), or another person authorised to sign agreements on behalf of your organisation

You may also need documents supporting your application. For example, proof of accreditation with a regulated awarding organisation, a digital copy of your funding contract, or a similar document.
